Our department is one of the few facilities capable of handling all diseases in the cardiovascular surgery field. We also take advantage of the characteristics of a university hospital, and our collaboration with all clinical departments is highly regarded by our patients as a major advantage.
We actively treat mild cases as well. For patients who require cardiovascular surgical treatment or who are concerned about the possibility of such treatment, please feel free to consult with us.
All cases are shared within the team including co-medical staff. Particularly for severe cases, we carefully consider and decide on treatment strategies at the morning conference every day. Having the personnel to make this possible is one of the characteristics of a university hospital.

Surgery: Ventricular Septal Defect Repair
For standard surgeries such as atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect, atrioventricular septal defect, and mitral valve disease, and for cases without high anatomical risk, we perform MICS (Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery) with small incisions whenever possible.
